In 2012, Prsctt-Std and DmnShn ventured to the Eagle's Nest on the Gippsland coastline, and recorded a series of acoustic (and minimal electronic) pieces, using the rockpools and sandstone and roaring waves as essential parts of their improvisations. In 2013, DmnShn took these pieces and edited them together, along with several studio pieces (mostly recorded beneath the trapdoor at his beachside residence).

The finished product was Cnidarian, GNAUMGN's first release since their 2012 experiment 'Remote Hearing (Time and Space)', and their first album proper since 'Metanoiac'.

Please enjoy this album as one flowing journey rather than discrete pieces. Headphone listening recommended.
